How much water do you need?

During the winter months skin becomes dry due to the harsh weather and dry air in your home. Drinking enough water helps to keep skin hydrated and your body functioning properly.

Each day you lose water through your daily activities such as breathing, perspiration, urination, and bowel movements. The average adult needs about 6-8 cups per day.

  • Urine is colorless or light yellow
  • Rarely feel thirsty
  • Skin feels hydrated
